RMT Partners With Henrico County Schools For The Summer of Security.
RMT had a purposeful summer, focusing on security upgrades for Henrico’s schools. Our mission was to ensure safe and welcoming environments for all, making sure every student, staff member, and parent felt secure.
We dedicated our time to planning and implementing security improvements, specifically enhancing the entrances of several schools. By adding extra security measures, we aimed to strengthen the existing systems and provide an added sense of safety.

Together, we brought on board two talented interns for an enriching two-week experience. 🌟
These interns had the opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals in the construction industry, gaining valuable hands-on experience and insights into the world of construction and development. From site visits to project planning meetings, they were fully immersed in the day-to-day operations of RMT Construction and Development group. 🏗️
💡 Throughout the internship, the interns were encouraged to explore their interests, ask questions, and actively contribute to ongoing projects. They worked closely with mentors who provided guidance, fostering their personal and professional growth. It was inspiring to witness their enthusiasm and dedication as they took on new challenges and expanded their skill sets. 🔍📈

It was an incredible opportunity to connect with the next generation of skilled workers and learn more about their passions and career aspirations.
The students we met were impressive, and we were blown away by their knowledge, skills, and enthusiasm. We are grateful for the chance to engage with them and explore potential opportunities for collaboration and partnership.

RMT Set Up At The Construction Contractors Conference

The Virginia Department of Small Business & Supplier Diversity (SBSD) and The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) are collaborating to offer this unique opportunity for subcontractors in the construction trades to meet with prime contractors, contract owners, and organizations that offer access to capital. This conference will offer training sessions in the morning, an exhibit fair, and matchmaking sessions in the afternoon.

3D Printed Home Wins Golden Hammer Award
RMT served as the general contractor on this project. The Golden Hammer Awards were started in 2000 with the goal of honoring excellence in neighborhood revitalization projects throughout Greater Richmond. Historic Richmond and Storefront for Community Design will partner for a sixth year to host the awards program to recognize professionals and community members improving our neighborhoods through restoration, adaptive reuse, new construction, placemaking, and historic preservation.
